Erigo is Savannah’s first and only boutique maternity firm that serves as a center of support, consulting and education for new and expectant parents. Erigo offers a wide variety of services, tailored specifically to each client’s needs, that include breastfeeding consultation, pre-natal and post-partum care for mother and baby, group support meetings, birthing classes, pre and post-natal massage, fitness classes, and more.

When new and expectant parents struggle to put together all the diverse pieces of the pregnancy and birthing experience, we are here to help. We believe that the timeline from conception through birth, on to postpartum and early childhood, should be treated as a continuum of care. Erigo was created to compliment your existing doctor or midwife care, while filling in any of the missing pieces along the way. At your time of greatest uncertainty, we have the answers and support you need, specifically tailored to you.

 Say hello to Cate

Cate Glyn-Jones is a licensed Registered Nurse who commenced her training in 1982 at Edinburgh, Scotland’s North Lothian College of Nursing. She studied to be a midwife at Oxford University’s prestigious John Radcliffe School of Midwifery from 1987-1989. There she studied under Chloe Fisher and Dr. Michael Wooldridge, whose research laid the foundation for professional lactation consulting worldwide. She later served as a midwife at the University Hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland, and worked as an independent midwife on the Cote d’Azur in the South of France.

She is recognized as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). The first Advanced Nurse Lactation Consultant (ANLC) in the state of Georgia and the only ANLC in Savannah. Cate also maintains both her British/European Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) licensures as well.

Most recently, she worked for 14 years at Candler Hospital where she became known as that “British Midwife.” While there, after continuing requests for advice, home visits, ongoing counseling, information and support; Cate was led to the conclusion that a formal response, in the form of Erigo, was in order. The result: an array of effective programs and services, under one roof, that have been developed to perfectly compliment your existing obstetric and pediatric care.
